Some Paintings I Did

It keeps occurring to me as I see these on my living room wall that I never shared them on my blog.  It's one of those "kept meaning to" sort of things.  But since they are still new to you, dear viewer, here are the two paintings I completed last summer:

Rats

Assignment from my Sculpture I class last semester:
Found object materials project.
Dowel rods, sticks, wood scraps, cardboard, mat board, wire, guitar strings, and of course, masking tape.

Be sure to check out the interesting shadows these create. 

The Rakes

This was a project I did for my Sculpture I class last semester.
The assignment was to create something exploring extensions or continuations of the body.
Media was wood (with glue and fasteners), gauze, and acrylic paint/gloss medium.
